Nominations are typically accepted into thirteen award categories for several months prior to the event. As a pilot project for the 2021 event, starting in the fall of 2020 we have decided to accept year round nominations for three of the award categories:
This award is presented to an individual who makes outstanding contributions to our community, with no expectation of personal gain. Volunteering of one’s time and talent towards the betterment of our community is the hallmark of this award. This nomination must be made from a third party (i.e. no self-nominations).

(formerly the Alvin Shortt Award)
This award is presented to an individual under the age of 25 who makes outstanding contributions to our community. This award recognizes excellence in youth in Centre Wellington, with leadership, work ethic, and integrity being major factors in this award. Self-nominations are now accepted, and encouraged, for this award.
This award is presented to a business that consistently provides exceptional customer service. This nomination must be made from a third party (i.e. no self-nominations). We now accept these nominations year round, and encourage you to submit as these moments of Customer Service Excellence occur!
