The 2022 Awards of Excellence Nominees are…
The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) is thrilled to announce the nominees for this year’s Awards of Excellence, presented by OLG,
as well as share the event plan for what will be their first in-person gala in three years.
“Our goal is, as always, to recognize our nominees, sponsors, and winners to the best of our ability, with a reach that extends to the far
corners of the CW community and beyond. We’re returning to in-person with a big splash, but we’re also keeping some of the elements that
we added over the past two years through our pivots,” comments Sally Litchfield, General Manager of the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce.
The event format will be both in-person and livestreamed – taking place on May 31, the event will feature an in-person gala at The GrandWay
Events Centre and a livestream of the event, sponsored by Enbridge Gas, allowing anyone to tune-in virtually at no cost to them.
“We were extremely excited to receive 96 nominations this year, the highest amount we’ve ever received. By the time we account for
duplicate nominations (businesses nominated into the same category multiple times), and the several businesses who respectfully chose not to stand,
we have 66 nominations to announce,” says Ashley-Ann Maginnis, chair of the adjudication committee for the Awards of Excellence.
