Municipal Elections are October 24th

The Municipal and County Council responsibilities are:

  • Strategic Land Use
  • Maintenance of local roads – including snow removal
  • Library Services
  • Parks and recreation
  • Economic Development
  • Municipal Law Enforcement

The Township of Centre Wellington will use Internet and Telephone Voting.

Qualified electors must be:

  • 18 years of age or older;
  • A Canadian Citizen;
  • A resident of the Township of Centre Wellington, or an owner or tenant of land in the Township or the spouse of an owner or tenant; and
  • Is not prohibited from voting under the Municipal Act or any other legislation.

The Township of Centre Wellington will use Internet and Telephone Voting for the 2022 Municipal Election. The videos below show how to vote online using both methods.

If you recently moved and would like to add your name to the Voter's List, please return the Application to Amend the Voter's List to the Township Office at 1 MacDonald Square, Elora.

The Province has prepared the 2022 Voters' Guide to provide information to voter for the 2022 municipal council and school board elections. It provides general information about the rules contained in the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 and other legislation and regulations. Voters' may also review the Township of Centre Wellington's 2022 Election Policies and Procedures.
