A Message from Dana Burdenuk, General Manager:

DanaBurdenuk250

Good afternoon,

"What's Happening Centre Wellington" is back on, with a twist! Our Chamber team is now filming in-person Member Moments interview segments in our boardroom or onsite, with physical distancing measures in place. These 5-7 minute interviews enable our members to showcase their business and their unique Chamber success stories! The video links will be shared in our PULSE e-newsletter, on our social media and website, as well as with each participating business to also post and share. Monthly, Wightman will use our footage to produce a 30-minute "What's Happening Centre Wellington" TV show featuring 4 or 5 businesses each month. The show will air multiple times throughout the month. A great opportunity to increase visibility for your business! If you're interested in participating, please reach out to me at chamber@cwchamber.ca. Check out our very first interview with Diane Cook, Owner and Principal Travel Designer at 7 Seas to See Travel here!

Job growth slowing, time for business-led recovery says Canadian Chamber
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s Chief Economist, Dr. Trevin Stratton, issued the following statement regarding today’s Labour Force Survey numbers.
“Today’s labour force numbers demonstrate that momentum is slowing after a sharp rebound in job growth over the previous months. In order to keep Belwood thriving, we are marching through this challenge with great dedication and care. We are currently asking for donations through a GoFundMe initiative. If you can, please consider contributing here.
