Code of Conduct
The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) community is made up of a network of people with a common agenda, cause, and interests, who collaborate by sharing ideas, information, and resources. It is of utmost importance to the CWCC that every person attending one of our events or participating in our programs, or engaging in any way with the CWCC, has a positive and rewarding experience and to that end to help us realize a safe, respectful, and positive experience for everyone.

Photography Disclaimer
Photography Disclaimer: The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to photograph its events, and from time to time we use these photos in our publications, both print and digital. By registering for any of our events, you understand and acknowledge that your photograph may be taken and used, per the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce’s discretion.
Cancellation Policy
The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce maintains a 5-business day cancellation policy for most Chamber events, including but not limited to Biz Breakfasts and Business Luncheons. Cancellations made with less than 5-days notice are not eligible for a refund or a credit. Unpaid registrations will be invoiced. The annual Chamber Golf Tournament and Awards of Excellence events maintain a 14-day cancellation policy, unless otherwise stated. Registrations for any event can always be transferred to another individual, business colleague, etc..
Transferable Registrations
If you are unable to attend an event for which you have registered, consider offering your spot to a colleague, staff member or customer as a gift. There is no additional charge to transfer your registration to someone else. Simply notify the Chamber by calling 519-843-5140.
Health & Safety Acknowledgement
When hosting events The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber) and its committees (such as CWOW) follow Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health Unit and Provincial Health guidelines. The Chamber cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with illness such as COVID-19.
Attendees, participants and volunteers acknowledge the health risks associated with their participation in Chamber events and agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of illness before, during, and after their attendance or participation. Individuals exhibiting symptoms before Chamber events should not attend the event.
Assumption of the Risk
By attending this event, I acknowledge and understand the following:
- Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
- I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and
- I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties.
