By registering for any of our events, you understand and acknowledge that your photograph may be taken and used, per the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce’s discretion.
The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce maintains a 48 hour minimum (2 business days) cancellation policy for all Chamber events. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for a refund. Unpaid registrations will be invoiced. This includes but is not limited to Networking Breakfasts, Business Luncheons, Awards of Excellence evenings, Golf Tournaments, Christmas Dinner/Dances and/or any other function for which a charge is made.
If you are unable to attend an event for which you have registered, consider offering your spot to a colleague, staff member or customer as a gift. There is no additional charge to transfer your registration to someone else. Simply notify the Chamber by calling 519-843-5140.
COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgment
While attending or participating in events held or promoted by the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber) and its committees (such as CWOW), consistent with Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health Unit and Provincial Health guidelines, participants must adhere to recommended hand hygiene, physical distancing and wear a non-surgical or cloth mask to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is highly contagious and spread mainly from person-to-person contact, The Chamber has implemented preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, The Chamber cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19 and risk potential exposure to COVID-19.
Attendees, participants and volunteers acknowledge the health risks associated with their participation in Chamber events and agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) before, during, and after their attendance or participation. Individuals who exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms should not engage in Chamber events and/or other face-to-face activities and should immediately contact the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health Unit if they experience symptoms of COVID-19 after attending, participating or volunteering with The Chamber and its events.
Attendees, participants and volunteers acknowledge that there may be people in attendance who have mask exemptions. Anyone in attendance who has a mask exemption is asked to strictly adhere to other public health precautions when in indoor public spaces, including maintaining a 2 metre distance from others and frequent hand washing.
As of September 22, most of our event locations are required by provincial regulations to see proof of vaccination from in-person attendees.
Assumption of the Risk
By attending this event, I acknowledge and understand the following:
- Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
- I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and
- I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties.
