CWCC Board of Directors announces new General Manager

| Return|

The Board of Directors of the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) is very pleased to announce that Sally Litchfield has been named as the new General Manager effective immediately.

Sally is an MBA graduate and brings a wealth of business leadership to the role. Her background includes over ten years in program management and stakeholder engagement, in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. Sally has valuable financial management and community development experience.

Sally is a familiar face to many Chamber members, having been a part of the team at CWCC in a growing role since 2019, spearheading projects such as the Drive-In Awards of Excellence and the virtual webinar and speed networking series earlier this year. She has served as Interim General Manager since the end of October. Sally is no stranger to the business owner lifestyle and understands the demands and intricacies that come with that. She grew up with parents operating both agricultural and retail businesses, and has operated her own freelance business for the past 3.5 years.

"We are delighted that Sally has accepted the role of General Manager on a permanent basis," said Chamber Board President Sheri Copplestone. "I know that every Director on the Board shares my enthusiasm. We are grateful for the continuity that Sally will provide for our business community during this challenging time and we look forward to working with Sally as she builds on the momentum that she has helped to create over the past year+”

Of her new position Sally shared, “I am proud to call Centre Wellington home and am thrilled to be further supporting the local business community in the General Manager role. I look forward to working with and for our membership as we at CWCC strive to provide solutions, benefits, and connections for our businesses, create opportunities to learn and grow, and advocate for local business needs.”

Sally can be reached at chamber@cwchamber.ca or (519) 843-5140.
